Beatrice Dewberry

Senior Partner

 

Beatrice O'Quinn Dewberry is a communication specialist and award-winning journalist who has covered people, places, news and events throughout Western Massachusetts. She has worked as a Religion Editor and written stories about politics, communities, businesses, public affairs and issues.

In her work as a professional and as a community booster, Beatrice forged ties with diverse ethnic and faith communities, business leaders, corporate professionals, social groups and residents.

 

She was named Outstanding Religion News Reporter by the Council of Churches of Greater Springfield , won top rankings by the New England Associated Press News Executive Association and received a national writing award by the National Association of Black Journalists. She has served as a media panelist for televised mayoral and legislative debates, co-planned and moderated panels for two City of Hope Summits and lectured at area colleges and high schools.

She has also worked in sales at the former Greater Media Cable and in news at NBC affiliate WWLP-TV 22.

 

Dewberry attended Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications studying Television, Radio, and Film Management. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Natalia Muñoz

Natalia Muñoz is founder and editor of La Prensa of Western Massachusetts, www.LaPrensaMA.com, a bi-lingual and bi-cultural website serving the diverse Latino communities in Western Massachusetts. As editor of La Prensa, Natalia promotes cultural and political events.


Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Natalia has worked as a journalist for both Spanish- and English-language newspapers and magazines for almost 25 years in the United States, Spain and Puerto Rico for different media outlets including the Associated Press, The New York Daily News, Ms. Magazine, Latina, Barcelona Metropolitan, and The San Juan Star and El Vocero, both in Puerto Rico.


She has worked in the marketing field with Portico ResearchHolyoke Community College and as a communications consultant for San Juan, Puerto Rico Mayor Sila M. Calderón, in the term previous to her successful campaign for governor.

 

Natalia also founded LinkLatinos.com, a portal for news, views and events in Latino communities nationwide.
Natalia is a co-founder of Enlace Latino, an advocacy organization
for the Spanish-speaking immigrant communities in the area, a trustee of Holyoke Community College, and a member of the WTCC radio station board of directors. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
